I initially thought the adult medicine material would be enough, but AKT goes far beyond clinical diagnoses. Prescribing, statistics, prevention and primary-care systems matter too. What I like about the adult medicine sections is that they are written from a GP decision-making perspective rather than like hospital notes. Monitoring, multimorbidity and safety-netting matter as much as diagnosis. I would still choose the complete package because those principles continue across the other volumes.

It covers the major clinical areas, prescribing and monitoring, prevention, statistics, evidence and NHS primary-care decisions, then gives faster recall and question practice afterward. I would choose the complete set immediately rather than build it gradually.
