Complete IMAT preparation from high-yield mastery to full-paper performance

I chose the complete package because I wanted all IMAT subjects organized in the same style. The color coding and high-yield distinctions make revision much faster, and I especially like that the mock volume forces you to apply what you studied rather than just reread notes.

The biggest difference for me is how clearly the books explain why two similar answers are not actually equivalent. Biology and chemistry became much easier to revise this way. Having all three volumes together also makes the preparation feel much more structured.

Volume 2 is particularly good for calculations because the equations are explained step by step instead of jumping directly to the result. I eventually used the full package because the QBank and mocks are much more useful when combined with the theory volumes.

Very clean and exam-oriented. Important rules, traps and qualifiers actually stand out, so I don't waste time highlighting everything myself. The complete three-volume package has been more practical for me than using separate resources for every IMAT section.

I really like the progression from learning the concept to recognizing the exact detail that changes the answer. Volume 1 is strong for Biology and Chemistry, but the complete set is better because Physics, Logic and the timed mock practice are all covered in the same system.

The logical reasoning and reading sections were a pleasant surprise. They explain how to deal with certainty, assumptions and causal claims instead of giving vague advice like “read carefully.” The full package feels much more complete once you start doing the mixed mocks.

The Biology sections are concise but still explain mechanisms properly, especially genetics, cell biology and physiology. What made me keep using the package was the consistency—the same high-yield approach continues into Chemistry, Physics and the question practice.

I originally wanted a Physics and Mathematics resource, but I found the complete package more useful. The calculations are organized very clearly, and Volume 3 is good for seeing whether you can actually use the formulas and concepts under time pressure.

The books do a good job of separating what is important for IMAT from general textbook detail. I particularly like the colored exam traps and rapid distinctions. For serious preparation I would personally use all three because the mocks make much more sense after completing the subject volumes.

The chemistry explanations are very easy to follow, especially stoichiometry, equilibrium and acids/bases. There is enough detail to understand the reasoning without making revision feel endless. The full package also gave me a much clearer plan for moving from study to timed practice.

Volume 3 is more useful than a simple question bank because the explanations focus on why an option wins and why the closest alternative fails. I liked using it after the first two volumes because mistakes immediately showed me which topic I needed to revisit.

What I liked most is that the resource treats calculation mistakes, reasoning mistakes and knowledge gaps differently. That sounds simple, but it made my mock review much more useful. I would choose the complete package because each volume serves a different stage of preparation.

The layout makes long revision sessions much easier. Definitions, correct approaches and common traps have a consistent visual meaning, and important qualifiers are easy to find again. The three books together give a very complete IMAT study flow without feeling like random notes.

The Physics sections are particularly well structured. Units, validity conditions and algebraic steps are kept visible, which helped reduce careless errors. The complete package is the better option in my opinion because the final mocks combine every domain exactly when you need integrated practice.

I found the full package especially useful during the later stage of preparation. I could revise Biology or Chemistry in the first volume, check Physics or Logic in the second, then test everything together in Volume 3. It feels like one study system rather than three unrelated books.
