The complete package makes much more sense to me than preparing the written and oral sections separately. Volume 1 helped me organize the clinical knowledge around actual decisions, while Volume 2 forces you to explain those decisions clearly. The color coding also makes repeated revision much quicker.

What I appreciate most is how closely the preparation follows the CPTE way of thinking. It is not just diagnosis and treatment notes; safety, client goals, professional issues and the next action are constantly integrated. I chose both volumes and would definitely prefer the complete set again.

Volume 2 has been especially useful because knowing an answer in your head is very different from explaining it properly under time pressure. The reading and speaking frameworks make the oral section feel much more manageable. Having Volume 1 beside it gives the whole preparation better continuity.

I like how the books repeatedly make you distinguish the important clue from all the extra information in a case. That has changed the way I approach questions completely. The complete two-volume library feels much more useful than collecting random notes and oral cases from different sources.

The written volume is very well organized around clinical reasoning rather than memorizing lists. The highlighted traps and safety points are especially good when several options sound reasonable. I eventually preferred the complete package because the oral volume takes the same reasoning and turns it into actual exam performance.

This feels like preparation for the Canadian exam rather than another general physiotherapy textbook. For me the strongest value is having both the written and oral preparation following the same approach.

I originally wanted Volume 1 mainly for written revision, but the complete package is much more balanced. The first volume strengthens the clinical foundation and the second teaches you how to communicate it concisely. The rapid summaries and color-coded exam points are excellent for later revision.

Volume 1 is excellent for revising broad physiotherapy topics without losing sight of the exam. The red flags, clinical pearls and comparison-style sections make it easy to revisit weaker topics. I still think both volumes together are the better option because the oral preparation completes the process.

Having both volumes has helped me study the CPTE as one exam rather than two disconnected sections.

The complete package is the option I would choose because each volume does a different job without feeling repetitive. One develops the written clinical reasoning and the other turns that reasoning into structured oral answers and mock practice. It feels focused, current and genuinely designed around CPTE preparation.
